Policies
Smoking
Jamieson House is a non-smoking building. Smokers are welcome to light up
on the porch or at one of the backyard café tables.
Pets
Jamieson House will permit visits by well-behaved furry creatures accompanied
by human guests, as long as we know ahead of time. In deference to the allergies
of some of our guests, we reserve the right to limit these visits to particular
rooms. Owners are expected to clean up after their pets and may be charged
for damage to furnishings.
Children
We’re a family. We’ve raised four kids and we know what it’s like both to
enjoy leaving them behind for a getaway weekend and to take them along.
Several of our rooms have extra beds for this express purpose. We do, however,
reserve the right to place guests with children in specific rooms and to
set breakfast times and menus accordingly.
Dietary Restrictions
We always try to ask if there’s anything you can’t or would care not to
eat for breakfast. It’s no problem for us to offer vegetarian, vegan, diabetic,
dairy-free, or gluten-free menus, even alongside our standard meals. We’ve
got both caffienated and non-caffienated coffees and teas available, too.
Cancellations
Cancellations with a reasonable explanation are always understandable. Full
or partial charges may be made at the discretion of Jamieson House.
